Can't find any reason to hate them. came with a bag and an additional sign (workout) if you choose to strap this over your door.
The only bad thing is that you’ll need to adjust the middle point to be even with your body weight frequently
Value for money and gets the job done. Quality materials used.
Excellent piece of kit. Easy to set up, well made and a useful set of exercise photos to get started with; instant gym in a bag!
It does what it says for most exercises but it's not possible to do push up variants at my height as the straps are not long enough and dig in very badly. I am 6ft 6 so most users should be ok but I would have liked this to be made clear on product instruction.
Great quality item for the price, however the flaw in the design as mentioned by another reviewer make these useless for the kind of exercises I was hoping to use them for.
The straps joining together at a single point means there is not enough room (especially if you have long arms) to comfortably do exercises such as planks, pec-flys, and push ups.
Really good product
Good value for money, good for basic exercises, built quality a bit worse than original TRX but that is acceptable given the price. For greater flexibility, required a bit of invention and creativity, an extra sling and carabiner.
The construction and materials used are very good, especially at this price point. But there is an design fail.
The straps are fixed with only one buckle on the main strap what end up causing three main problems:
1 - When performing push-up position exercises the junction is very close to the back of the neck and ends up rubbing on it no matter the angle.
2- The height required for the anchor for performing exercises that require more floor distance (like pull-up movements) is well above the average 6 to 9 feet usually required by other suspension systems.
3- As the straps are fixed in a relatively short "v" point, when doing exercises that require wide openings, the angle is too high making them much harder if not impossible (any opening above 120 degrees results in an exponential increase of the load what result in a load).
The last model (discontinued) had a better design than the new model at least on the straps junction
That is my opinion based on the experience I am having with the product. I am still getting used to the exercises and learning, but couldn't find a solution for this design fail even trying different angles or postures on the exercises.
Once again, another well designed and thought out product from Decathlon.
I was initially dubious about the way the straps are attached to the sling when using outside, but after weeks of use up to 3'times a week by both myself and my clients, the attachment peg seems robust and I'm 100% confident that the peg will neither break nor slip out.
I would like to see a double anchor version being developed which would allow an even greater range of exercises to be performed.
I have used the product inside and can say that so for, the door anchor hasn't damaged or marked my pine doors.
As it's also lightweight and compact, I will be taking it with me on holiday.
