TECHNICAL TESTS

We carry out laboratory tests to validate every component: fabric, buckles, straps, foam and zips. For example, for fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc. Then, a test that replicates several years of use of the backpack is conducted to check the strength of the assemblies: the backpack is filled with weights and placed on a mannequin that replicates thousands of fast walking movements

How is backpack volume measured?

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty these balls into a graduated container, which gives the equivalent volume in litres.

I rarely leave review but I can't recommend this bag enough. It is amazing. Comfortable to wear (when you pack it well), sturdy, water resistant, easy to pack and has low profile grab handles everywhere so it is super easy to pick up when on public transport (grab hamdel even saved me when I was falling backward out of a moving bus!)

This is a travel holdall rather than a trekking rucksack. My husband and I have one each and it was perfect of our light weight backpacking honeymoon and we stil use them regularly. Great value for money.
