TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Living room

3.9sqm living area and a maximum inner tent height of 1.40 m.

Pitching and folding

You have three poles to insert into their respective sleeves. You will find colour codes to help.

Sun protection

The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.
Important: be careful, a significant amount of UV can get in through a simple open door.

Ventilation

The ventilated flysheet on the living room lets air circulate and reduces condensation inside your tent. There are also high vents at the front and back of the tent, along with high mosquito protection on the door and at the back of the bedroom.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched with the guy ropes properly deployed, this tent remains habitable with a wind of force 6, measured at 50 km/h.

Waterproofing

We test our tents to check their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 4 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per m², the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a 2000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.

Poles and tent pegs

Poles - All of our poles are made from fibreglass and undergo double quality checks. This guarantees some of the best resistance against breakage.
Pegs - All of our pegs are made from steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.

Sleeping width

The tent's bedroom compartment is designed to accommodate a maximum of four mattresses 60 cm wide. It can also accommodate a couple looking for a very large bedroom.

its a very good size tent that can fit more than 4 person actually. But to use this on a hard surface open area is quite hard as its a must for this tent to have support either from the ground or tie it to somewhere. anyhow its a very good tent.

The size of this tent is suitable for small families (2 adults & 2 children). The temperature inside is not too hot even in an open place. It can still be lived in it. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. Maybe in the future, I will upgrade to Arpenaz 4.1.

For you information, Camping tent Arpenaz 4 use flysheet fabric that has UPF 30 sun protection and we strongly recommend you to pitch your tent under a shaded area and not under direct sunlight. As such we would like to recommend you our tent that has Fresh and Black technology such as Arpenaz 4.1 F&B as this product is based on fabric with UPF 50+ sun protection which gives you less light and heat in your tent. The size of this tent is taller and bigger than Arpenaz 4 and it has better ventilation system. We may improve ourselves in satisfying your needs as customer delight is our top priority.
