TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Living area

6.5 m² living area with an inner tent height of 1.90 m.
This tent has several features:
- a basin groundsheet that can be raised at the entrances when raining
- a transparent window with flap
- a mosquito net window with flap- storage pockets in the bedrooms and in the living area

Pitching and folding

All-in-one inflatable structure with pre-assembled inner tent/bedroom and fly sheet.
Using our Quechua red 5.2 litre pump with built-in pressure gauge, we recommend inflating the tubes to 7 PSI pressure.
To see this pump, copy the reference 8243066 and paste it into the search engine on our website.

Sun protection

The flysheet fabric has UPF 30 sun protection.
Note: be careful; a significant amount of UV can get in through a simple open door.

Ventilation

The ventilated flysheet for the common area lets you ventilate it and limits condensation inside your tent. High ventilation hatches are also provided at the front and back of the tent, along with high mosquito screens on the door and at the back of the bedroom.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents on a turntable in a wind tunnel. The goal is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched, with the guy ropes properly deployed, this tent remains habitable in force 7 wind, measured at 60 km/h.

Waterproofing

We test our tents to ensure they are waterproof. The first test is conducted in a laboratory for 4 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per m², the equivalent of tropical rain at 200 mm per hour. The second test is conducted by our teams in the field under real conditions. This tent is equipped with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet with 2000mm water resistance. It also has seams taped using heat-sealed strips and a 190 g/m² polyethylene groundsheet.

Living area reinforcement - There's an aluminium bar in the living area to stiffen the structure.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.

*600 deniers indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m of length

Sleeping width

The bedroom of this tent is designed to accommodate a maximum of four mattresses 70 cm wide. It can also accommodate a couple looking for a very large bedroom.

Fantastic tent.
Kaye (United Kingdom) Used for 3 to 6 months
Having done the pole tent camping for years and listened to the odd pole crack, then having the faff of repairing it, I decided to invest in a inflatable one. I haven't been let down.
I managed to erect it on my own in wind and heavy rain. It went up quickly and once pegged down, very stable. It has tollerated a full week of Scottish weather, from winds up to 45kph and raining cats and dogs. There are no issues with waterproofness or windproof ability.
If I was to quible about anything, it would be the lack of divider, so you could sleep 2 and 2, and also perhaps a redesign of the canopy covering the roof ventilation panel, as during the most driving wind and rain, it did spray in a little. But this was so slight and not enough to dampen anything.
I highly recommend this tent and wish I had bought it year's ago. I'm looking forward to many more holidays in it.
A battering from storm Francis

Bought this tent to replace a 15 year old 6 man double pod Quechua tent that had served me well. This tent is lovely and spacious and I love being able to stand up it it.
Very easy to put up - can do it single handed if it is not too windy which is brilliant.
A good living space that has a separate but not separate ground sheet. What i mean is that the sides of the tent are not fixed to it which means the ventilation is good.
We were camped in Cornwall last week and took the brunt of storm Francis. It stood up pretty well but the front did collapse when two guy ropes were pulled out - first 2 on one side at the front (all our tents had guy ropes pulled up). I may not have pitched them at the right angle but at 3am in the horizontal wind and rain, I did need to add two extra ropes at the front - worked brilliantly. Will keep them as storm guys like other tents have.
The sleeping area stayed snug and dry. The living area did get wet but not because of the ground sheet. The rain came in the top vent. The only real criticism i have of the tent is that the vent gap is quite large and cannot be secured closed in windy weather - as the tent got blown about the gap increased at times. There is a flap of fabric that helps stop this but I think an improvement would be to be able to secure it more closed if the weather turns.
It has pros and cons

Fast and easy set up. No instruction required. Sturdy and good water resistant material. Very spacious in both rooms. Used outwith a campsite, rain and wind all night and it held up well.

Deflated tent ends up twice the size. Very footery to get the air out. Ground sheet flap at front of tent is a bad design. A little bit of wind and it pops out allowing it to gather rain water and come in the tent. I ended up having to tape this to the inside of the tent. I recommend buying some Velcro pads to solve this problem. Gaps in the porch area between the outer sheet and ground sheet allow insects to come in. Porch area would be better if it was completely sealed. Again, this can be fixed with velco.
Overview

This tent is so easy to set up and quick. I would say the only bad thing about this tent is the angle of the door. The door opening is on a backwards slope, so when it is raining if you go in and out your tent, everything gets wet at the entrance which is not ideal. Upon reflection I would not get this tent due to the positioning of the door, my next tent I will make sure the door is upright and maybe has a rain guard/flap also.
Fantastic

We love this tent. So easy to get up and with held some very stormy weather. Spacious. Much easier having an inflatable tent than standard ones with poles. Would certainly recommend .
How do you put the door up as a shelter?
