TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Pitching/folding

Classic dome structure: Fit the poles on the inner tent, then attach the flysheet over it.
Reverse the process to take it down.

Mattress compatibility

We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring 60 cm maximum.
We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 6 cm height in this tent due the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.

Ventilation

1 upper back ventilation, space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent: to enable air to circulate between the room and the flysheet, to renew the air and limit the natural phenomena of condensation.

Waterproofing

All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field.
(2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner room under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Resistance to wind

We test all out tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).

the grade good and not absorb heats

Incorrect Specifications in size and weight

Despite being a great tent there are some differences in the weight and size of this tent to what is shown in the specifications.
Internal dimensions are 182x191 instead of the advertised 190x200 and this makes a huge difference to someone that is 186 tall as they basically don't fit.
Weight is 3.55kgs not 3.2kgs as advertised. If you remove the tent pegs, the basic tent itself will be this weight. Bought some lightweight pegs to solve this issue but when you are working with a lightweight back pack for hiking, then every gram counts.
Otherwise this tent is really good and very good value for money. Blackout is excellent. Heat reduction is average to good.
These issues should really be looked into by the manufacturer and if they feel like sending me a tent with the right dimensions, it would be appreciated.

I have done a ton of camping in this tent and love it. It's light, quick to set up, robust against the weather and, with the unique blackout feature, I can get a full night's sleep even in the British summer.

It really does keep it dark which helps you sleep well, we had a double blow up bed and we're comfortable but there's no porch area for bags.
Easy to put up, I would definetly recommend it to any young couples who like festivals. Camped in it three times and it seems very durable
