Very much worth the price, and sturdy!
Similar to the review of the 16kg KB, this weighs in at slightly over 12kgs, with a rubber base, although I have noticed recently that the base WILL mark the floor, carpet etc, it would be better if it was non marking. The handle is quite wide and textured for grip, which is great for things like halos / tricep extensions, but for swings I have to stand a little wider. The upper part of the kettlebell is also a rough texture which again helps with goblet squats, but anything like KB clean / rack and forearms suffer where the KB rests, although not as bad as with the larger 16kg KB as there seems to be more space between the handle and KB body. This is something I haven't had before with the KB's at my gym. Good for the price paid though.
Working on being less of a lightweight.
Just graduating to this weight.
Good quality product, well made
Given as a Christmas present. They say it’s excellent.
Simple, well made, with a rubberised bottom. Sensible item, good price
Best kettlebell I’ve used. Easy hold, good grip, very well made and fantastic value for money! Best on the market by a mile!
Nice and compact.
This was ok when I was starting to use kettlebells to try them out but now that I'm in the regular habit I find them quite uncomfortable for most exercises. The handle bar is too wide for me to do a comfortable swing, at my height of 5'1" the handles bash my thighs. Single arm moves are unbearable as they are too painful for my wrist. I'm on the lookout to upgrade to better kettlebells but many are out of stock.
I've been an avid gym goer for a few years and with the current Covid situation, I was unable to do so. I would usually go in between KB sizes when exercising, a 12kg and also a 16kg just depending on the exercise. This kettlebell is one of the most awkward I've ever used for single arm snatches and single arm press? I'm not sure if its maybe because I have quite boney wrists, i'm also quite a slight 5ft5 woman.. and maybe it's a body shape and size thing, but the shape of this KB is all wrong for me, the wide bottom on the KB whacks off my shoulders and the wide handle thumps my wrist like to the point I'm in real pain, whereas all others I have used up until now for the same exercises (totally rounded Kettlebells) don't do that.
The item is fantastic for swings and upright row but other than that I can't use it much :(
