Sun protection
Clothing remains the best form of protection from the sun's rays: wear long-sleeved tops, trousers and hats with wide rims. Attention, a t-shirt alone does not offer adequate protection: the thickness of the fabric, the density of the knit and even the colour can affect the level of UVs filtered. The UPF 40+/ 50+ label ensures compliance with European standards. An UPF 40+ label indicates that 97.5% of rays are blocked, 50+ that more than 98% of rays are blocked.
Resistance of components
Resistance to wear test: for example, we test that fleeces do not bobble via laboratory tests. Colour-fastness test: we thoroughly test the dyeing process to make sure that the dye does not bleed when coming into contact with saliva. Ageing test: repeated washing should not change the fabric properties, its behaviour, thickness or appearance.
