Laboratory test
We conduct laboratory tests to validate components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam padding, zips, etc. For example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion & tearing, colour fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc. Then a test is conducted on finished product replicating forces on backpack over a number of years in order to check the strength of assemblies: backpack is weighted, then placed on a dummy which reproduces the movement of fast walking over thousands of cycles.
How to adjust your backpack?
1 - Adjust the back height adjuster to the height in cm of your child (remove the rip-tab and then pass it through the loops of the desired colours).
2 - Loosen all the straps (shoulder straps, belt, load adjuster straps).
3 - Put the backpack on.
4 - Tighten the shoulder straps.
5 - Adjust the load adjuster straps as needed
10-year warranty
The warranty covers any defects to the backpack, excluding those resulting from normal wear and improper use. This special 10-year warranty will only be granted upon presentation of the receipt and the product. If the product is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or exchanged, free of charge. This sales warranty does not affect the statutory rights applicable in your country/state.
HOW IS BACKPACK VOLUME MEASURED?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. Then we empty the balls into a graduated container, which gives us the equivalent volume in litres, with a tolerance of a few %.
The empty weight shown is that of our reference sample. There may be slight variations.
