How to use
Are very popular for working in hand and with professionals who wear their boots all day long (grooms, farriers, breeders, etc.). They are not designed for riding but can be used with stirrups that are wide enough.
These are not suitable for horse riding due to the amount of chunky tread. There is a danger that your foot would become stuck in the stirrup if you fell and you would be dragged. Real lack of awareness of basic Equestrian product safety by Decathlon. I have reported this to them before and they are still selling them as riding footwear. Riding shoes/boots should have a heel break as these do, but ALSO should have a well-gripping but shallow tread depth. Fine for walking or around the yard, but not for riding in.
Response of the brand
Thank you for your feedback, it has helped us to look further into this product, the use and the description.
After consultation with our horse riding experts, even though the product description was not specifying the boots were designed for riding we have added this specification in our main description.
