Our design teams have created this snorkel for adult snorkellers who perform short dives to get closer to the fauna and flora

The SNK 540 snorkel promotes the expulsion of water through its valve. Its dry-top mouthpiece limits water entry through the top of the snorkel. This also ensures ample and easy breathing.

BENEFITS

Water drainage

Snorkel purge valve facilitates water expulsion and minimises leftover water.

Waterproof

The dry-top prevents water from entering from top of snorkel while free-diving.

Mouth comfort

Silicone mouthpiece, ergonomic snorkel and clip design.

Anatomic design

Flexible mouthpiece for better positioning on the face and in the mouth.

Flexibility

Mouthpiece compatible with a diving regulator.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

DRY-TOP SEALING VALVE

Snorkel with a valve at the top to stop water getting into the snorkel. For example: when there are small waves on the surface or when the user leans their head too far forward to observe the seabed. Under the same conditions with a traditional snorkel, the user could swallow water. After diving, remember to blow out when returning to the surface to make sure that the valve descends.

Valve

When Snorkelling, water can enter the snorkel due to immersion or splashing. The valve located at the bottom of the snorkel makes it easier to expel water. Thanks to the valve, most of the water is drained from the bottom, which means the user does not have to blow out so hard. This is unlike a conventional snorkel where the water is drained from the top.

How to use the valve

Simply blow out gently to empty the snorkel through the valve. After breathing out, be careful when you breathe back in. Inhale slowly as some residual water can remain in the snorkel. If in doubt, do not panic; raise your head out of the water and the snorkel will empty itself instantly through the valve.
High-speed intensive swimming is not recommended as it can move the valve and cause water to enter.

Valve maintenance

Sometimes sand or salt gets stuck between the valve and the hard part of the snorkel, this prevents the valve from correctly lying flat and ensuring a watertight seal. In this case, simply rinse the snorkel thoroughly with clean water and check that the valve lies flat.

Breathe easily

With its comfortable mouthpiece and the correct size of the snorkel, you can breathe safely.

Silicone

Silicone is an extremely flexible material. The mouthpiece provides greater comfort in the mouth area.

PVC-free

This product contains no PVC.

Mouthpiece

The mouthpiece is the part of the snorkel that is placed in the mouth. Its specially designed shape makes it one of the most comfortable snorkels for your mouth.

Wave guard

https://spid.decathlon.net/#Le The deflector is the part located at the top of the snorkel. Its curved shape creates a protection limiting the inflow of water through the top of the snorkel.
