Safety Instructions
WARNING: Always wear protective equipment (helmet, knee pads and elbow pads) when scootering. MOST SERIOUS ACCIDENTS take place during the first few months. Take the time to learn the basics of use to master speed and breaking in any emergency situation and whatever the weather conditions (particularly on wet terrain).
Glide performance
We have equipped this adult scooter with large 200 mm HIGH BOUNCE PU rubber wheels for high-performance scooting. A large wheel makes it easier to build up speed with minimum effort. ABEC 5 bearings for great glide performance, reducing effort and therefore the effect of fatigue.
To meet your needs and provide maximum user comfort, the Town 7 XL is equipped with two suspension systems: One at the front and one at the rear. These suspension systems greatly reduce the discomfort caused by uneven roads or pavements.
Handlebar adjustable on demand. Its raised handlebar enables you to better control your direction and your environment. Ergonomic grips to cushion your hands from shocks on bumpy terrain.
This new Town 7 XL scooter is equipped with a rubber grip on the deck to provide greater comfort and cushioning from shocks on the road.
Handlebar brake but also long, enveloping brake on rear wheel for effective braking, also serving as a mud guard. Most serious accidents take place during the first few months, take the time to learn the basics of use to master speed and braking in any emergency situation, and whatever the weather conditions (particularly on wet terrain).

Great larger scooter
Used for 1 week or less
My tall 10 year old loves this scooter. She didn’t want a bike anymore when she saw this . Well made and adjustable to size from child to adult. Should last for years. Really pleased.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Smooth ride but heavy and strap broke
Used for 1 week or less
This scooter is great if you keep it unfolded and don’t need to take it on public transport. The brakes are brilliant and it’s very smooth. However it’s a nightmare to carry around and take on public transport because it twists and isn’t easy to put on the ground without it falling over. It’s a very very heavy scooter and it’s huge to carry (especially if you’re fairly petite like me). I’ve used it for 3 days and the metal part of the carry strap has broken on both sides. Hoping I can get a refund or replace it quickly but it isn’t good quality
Best thing I ever bought
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I decided for my 24th birthday I’d finally buy an adult scooter after seeing people commuting around London on them a couple years back when I was a student.
The first day I used the scooter I was nervous but soon after I began using the scooter for whatever reason I could find. I have used this scooter almost everyday since I got it - I work at my local supermarket so have been scooting there and back. I also like to scoot around my local park with earphones in as a bit of a workout and for the pure fun of it. I even made a playlist just for scooting.
My mum is happy too because i’m now eager to scoot down to the shops with an empty backpack to get the milk or fetch us dinner from the fish and chip shop - it saves her a job!
Overall, the scooter is well built. The folding mechanism took me a while to get used to but i’m alright with it now.
I got the mint green/blue colour and a matching helmet also from decathlon.

I’m 24, and I recommend you buy this product. Nothing beats the wind in your face as you scoot downhill listening to your favourite music, whatever your age it’s worth it for the fun.

Light and easy to travel with on public transport. The wheels make it a smooth ride and it’s a great way to get to further places. Also adds to my steps for the day.
Bad folding system
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
For the good: the ship in High Street Kensington prepared it for me & took it home, folded.
For the bad: thee folding system was horrendous. Arrived home, unlocked it. It was impossible to fold it back, so it's useless to me. Tried again & again to fold it, hurting my fingers. Impossible. Brought it to the Uxbridge shop. The guy at the till couldn't fold it either and thought it was faulty. The guy in High Street Kensington shop could fold it. I was so disappointed by it, I don't want a scooter anymore. The ones with the easier folding system Town9 are too heavy and doesn't have the area that allows you to put a lock through to lock away when in town, and have nothing to carry over shoulder. Need to get better at them!
Love it!
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Really pleased with my scooter. Its easy to fold and easy to use. It is good quality and nicely put together. Best of all, it allows me to keep up with my kids! Its amazing how quickly you can get places when you're all scooting. I love it!
Good value needs some fettling.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Works as advertised but bottom over centre lever will not stay locked. Handle bars not in line with the wheel.
Strong Scooter
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I hadn’t ridden a scooter since I was a kid and am now 52 years old.
I chose this model for myself while buying a similar one for my daughter as a Christmas present.
I’ve had it about six weeks now and have ridden it a lot for those ‘last mile’ journeys. It folds easily to carry onto public transport, I don’t use the strap as it looks a bit fiddly. It takes no more than a few seconds from folded to rideable and back again, once you get used to it, the handlebar stem has markings so you can easily get the same adjustment each time.
Riding is just as you’d imagine and with front and rear suspension it takes the worst out of uneven pavements, beware though if you hit anything too big on small wheels you could come a cropper, that said I ride over drop curbs, pavements and those indicator paving stones at pedestrian crossings without any problems.
The specification Says it is good for 100 kg, well I’m north of that figure and the suspension rarely bottoms out, with age this may change but hopefully as it wears I’ll lose a few pounds and it will keep going strong.
The kickstand was a breeze to fit and works well on level ground,
The brake on the handlebar is surprisingly good and the foot brake is excellent, however if the pavement is wet then do expect braking distances to easily double, ride slowly and watch for obstacles and other people, it really doesn’t stop fast on wet surfaces, then again if you weigh 60 kg it may stop quicker for you.
Overall I’m very pleased with my scooter, I wanted the 10 but it wasn’t in stock so I saved about £50 and don’t think I got any less of a scooter.
If I was buying again I might look for something with bigger wheels, with blow up tyres, especially for longer rides but at this price this is a great scooter.

Good value, very solid, folds easily once you have the knack - happy with purchase.
