The fabric of the flysheet filters UV rays with a UPF of 20. We recommend that you protect your skin. Warning! A significant amount of UV light can pass directly or indirectly through the shelter's opening.
Use the tent pegs provided if it is windy. Tip: in addition to the tent pegs provided for fastening the shelter to the ground, you can provide additional wind resistance by filling the bag half full with stones or sand and placing it inside the shelter on the windward side.
This filter protects you from light rain, thanks to its polyester fabric coated with polyurethane. The groundsheet protects you from moisture and run-off water. Warning! Given that the seams are not taped, the shelter does not provide protection in heavy rain.
Solid glass fibre poles that are highly resistant to breaking. 5 mm diameter galvanised steel tent pegs that are highly resistant to twisting.
The process used to dye the fabric consumes less water and pollutes less.
As designers and users who love nature, we care about the durability of our products. That's why our shelters are designed to be repairable. Our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Whether it is the Jura or the Auvergne, we visit as many locations as possible, in all weather conditions. These field tests involve lots of discussions, which are very useful in getting your feedback and planning our future products!

Stockage Tips

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bought this sun shelter as my daughter has recently started lifeguards competitions which means long days at the beach. The shelter seems to attract the sun and on the 2 occasions we have tried to use it we have been unable to sit inside it because it is too hot. If you want a sweat box, buy this. If you want shelter from the sun you can actually use, buy a beach umbrella. The shelter is a waste of money.
Response of the brand

Hi Tamara,

I am sorry for the situation, but the main purpose of this shelter is to protect you from wind and rain. If you are looking for UV protection, I would recommend the 2 seconds XL fresh,a innovative canvas which reduces the heat felt in the direct sunlight.
