I used it in Sandakphu(highest peak of west Bengal) in October . And even in October at night you can found water on the inside wall of your tent. You just couldn't sleep well ,your clothes, equipments, phone and camera could get wet. It was very uncomfortable to sleep with a wet sleeping bag.
Thank you for your feedback on the Arpenaz 2 Camping Tent. We are extremely sorry about the unpleasant experience you have had during your camping. This shouldn't have happened normally as we test all our tents for waterproofing and wind resistance. However, there could be a hole in the outer layer from where the water is seeping through. Kindly visit any of your nearest Decathlon stores, and the team would be more than happy to help you with the same.
You can write back to me if you need any assistance in the future :)
it is good for indoor camp, or a car camping,
but if you actually bring it for a wild camp, the actual space inside the tent is rather small than you expected due to its dom shape, as there is no actual sample set up in the store, we can hardly estaimate the using experience. also there are 6 pegs only while you needa buy extra peg for the ropes
also ,the bag for the equip is far too small, if you can't roll your stuff like the factory's seting, you can't put your tent and fly and stuff in to the bag again.
yet, i am happy with the instore experience and the quality, so i would exchange a arpenaz 3 instead, i also looking for any traditional tent with some space in front of the door to put my backpack,
by the way, the quality is good and i just need a bigger tent for actual usage :)
The stitches are strong ... Didn't expect it to be that strong. The waterproof base gets easily demaged....I think I need to put some sheet under it before setting it up. Took it to kheerganga trek and was a good decision as that place had about 3000-4000 people on that day and the tents were offered for 2k+++ rent. So it's better to buy this instead of renting it ....as 2-3 trips will offset its cost.
It is not suitable for my fishing, but I have in in my loft as a play tent for the kids.
Good quality tent, warm and comfortable inside in windy cold weather. Will test it during the rains.
Earlier I had a chinease tent, the quality was very bad. Then I purchased this product and I am happy with it. The material is good quality. You can purchase a foam sheet from market and make it as tent base. It would expand tents age. Tents cant protect from winter
The product was as expected good and easy to fix,
all the color and extra fittings are good in quality but the only thing i what to suggest is the bottom of the tent could be more thick, because i feel like it will torn easily when i put on the surface, i need to use an extra long mat for safety.
thanks for your product
I love the way u approached for each and every inquiry till the product was delivered.
I would defiantly love to continue my shopping with Decathlon.
It's very nice and easy to fix ourself within 10 minutes. Since i haven't got a chance to use it on my travel yet, I am not able to provide a detailed product review now. Will update later.
Bought this to go on a scooter rally. Easy to put up and take down, the wind on a camp site makes folding it up to put away more difficult than it should be, but that's not the tents fault.
Kept me dry and warm. What more do you want for a score?
Didn't miraculously make me live camping though.
