Technical Informations

Pitching/taking down
Classic dome assembly: poles set up with bedroom and then flysheet assembled over top. Reverse procedure to take down.
1 upper rear air vent, space between flysheet and ground all around tent: to allow air to circulate between bedroom and flysheet, for improved breathability and to limit natural formation of condensation.
Sun protection
The flysheet fabric filters UV rays and has an UPF of 30. Please note: a significant amount of UV radiation can pass through a single open door: protect your skin.
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field tested. (Polyester flysheet with 2,000 mm PU coating, Polyethylene ground sheet, 120 g/sqm, all seams are sealed with thermobonded tapes). A breathable polyester inner tent under the flysheet helps prevent contact with drops of condensation that can form on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 40km/h measured near ground level (Force 5).

Stockage Tips
Storage: In order to prevent odours and mould from forming ensure your tent is completely dry after use or cleaning.

Maintenance Tips
1 CLEANING - clean the tent with soapy water and then rinse (hose down if possible), when needed. Then dry thoroughly. 2 RESIN STAIN - …very difficult to remove: once dry, scratch carefully and position an ice cube on the inner surface to make it more brittle so that it will flake off more easily. 3 STORAGE – after use or cleaning, ensure your tent is perfectly dry before storing to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Survived under windy seabreeze early in morning!
Used for 1 week or less
I used this tent to camp beside beach in Port Dickson, Malaysia. Around 3am, theres strong wind on the beach that keep hitting our tent. With this price its still able to survive nicely.
This tent can fit two small size people, or 1 big and one small people. The best is to sleep alone. Its easy to assemble, quite light. It has some pocket inside, and you can also hang you light or torch light. Its a bit hot though, less air ventilation. at night i open the window to get more cool air in. Overall im very satisfied with this tent. Good for beginner. If you are in a family please buy big tent size and good air ventilation tent!
Used for 3 to 6 months
not very spacious but light
Great tent for the price
Used for More than 2 years
This tent will work great for most people for most occasions. First, like with many tents, subtract a person from the mfr's designation. This is a 2-man tent if both campers are hobbits; otherwise, well, either you'd better be with your spouse, or just really, really skinny people. I use this as a 1-man tent on my backpacking excursions, and for that, it's worked well. A few quibbles. First, the tent is too short. At 6'2"/188 cm, this tent is only 200 cm long, and that doesn't take into account the slanted walls. Bottom line is that either my head presses against one wall, or my feet the opposite wall. Why, or why did you do this, Decathlon? The extra nylon to make it longer would have cost you about a quid, for which I'd gladly have paid, given how little this tent costs. Most other quibbles are just commensurate for a tent at this price point: little to no mesh area on the tent, so it can be a bit stifling in warmer weather. The tent door has only one zipper, so you always have to go all the way to one end or the other when zipping it up. Better tents usually have two so you can start/stop zipping wherever's best. Stuff pocket only at one end of the tent. Things like that. Otherwise? Nothing but praise. At 2.2 kilos, it's not the lightest out there, but certainly not porky. To fit it into the bottom of my Gregory backpack, I take out the poles and then smash the tent down a bit and then place it horizontally. I then just put the poles in the bag vertically.
It's definitely waterproof as I've gotten caught a couple of times in decent rains.
Overall, you get a lot for the money here. It's certainly not going to have all the bells and whistles of a tent at a higher price point, so if you camp/backpack just occasionally, give this tent a try. If you're a more serious camper, are 6'2" or taller, or just need a bit better gear, pass on this.
2man tent

OK tent but flimsy!
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Easy to put up but quite flimsy, bought to change into wetsuit. If windy not very stable. OK for a kiddies play tent though.
Great biker tent
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Got this as a last minute motorcycle camping trip was organised. Lightweight, compact when bagged up and easy to assemble.. perfect for a short trip. I'd say it should be one man to a tent though given you'll be keeping your gear in it. Fantastic bargain price tent.
Unbelievable value
Used for 3 to 6 months
I use this tent for wild camping. The quality is amazing for the price, on par with tents costing 10 times the price. It’s light, packs down into the bag easily every time and is very warm. Decent ventilation too.
Not a drop of water all weekend
Used for 1 week or less
Great size for 2 people, plenty of space to sleep and have bags. It rained all weekend and there wasn't a single drop in the tent! So impressed! Only fault would be that we were missing a couple of tent pegs but it wasn't an issue.
Excellent tent
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This tent has been used at 2 festivals, both of which had awful weather so this tent has been through hell. Inside compartment remained completely dry whereas all tents around me were leaking badly. Advertised as a 2 man but it's perfect for 1 + bags and drinks. GetV easy to put up and is very light. Only downside is poor lateral stiffness so it does deform considerably in high wind but for the price this tent is everything I expected and more
Great for £20
Used for 1 week or less
I bought this tent to go to a three night festival. It was fairly light-weight, didn't take up too much room in my bag and was quick to erect. It was incredibly easy to set up, I noted it came with instructions, but didn't actually need to look at them. I probably wouldn't recommend the use of this for two people. It was the perfect size for me, my bag and alcohol. It didn't rain whilst I used it, but one morning it was very damp and cold, but inside my tent was fairly cosy and dry. It has a handy little pocket at the door for putting stuff you might need to suddenly grab, like a lighter or bottle opener, and the space at the door between sheets is more than enough for shoes and more alcohol.
Have used it once since and had the same experience. It more than exceeded my expectations for £20.
