Excellent bench with one drawback
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
The bench is good value, well made and feels strong in use. I have used it for a few weeks now and am very pleased with its comfort and construction, with one exception.
There is one drawback, which is not obvious when you first see the bench. What looks like a standard leg extension/leg curl attachment isn't! You can do leg extensions without a problem. However, when I tried to do leg curls, I found you would need a lower leg of a very unusual length to reach the roller and do the exercise. I contacted Decathlon, who, after a few false starts, admitted you cannot do leg curls with this equipment, only leg extensions.
So, highly recommended if you're not bothered about leg curls. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
Folding bench
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Very easy to make. And feels strong
Adjustable bench
Used for 3 to 6 months
Can’t fault this bench really sturdy to give you confidence with any exercise and yet easy to fold flat and manoeuvre when not using
Cheap and flimsy
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Not a very good build, foam bits tend to slide off when using. The whole structure is slightly misaligned and the joints are flimsy. The bench top seems good enough. The pole for weights is bigger diameter which leaves you to buy special brand weights from Decathlon website. When using leg bit, weights rattle, I ended up drilling a hole and putting a bolt in to make sure they don't fly off. Overall: I would wait and save to buy something better.
this bench has problems
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
the domyos 530 bench is a very sturdy weight bench it feels rock solid in use. however it has two bad problems on the leg extension. firstly it offers no adjustable position on the foot position meaning all the pressure is on my ankle joint as i have to lift it with my toes and yet i am an average height male. the second problem is the post for the weights is to large a diameter to take my one in hole weights of which i have nearly a thousand kilos of. as it is about 28ml it's also seriously small to take olympic weights that have a 50 ml hole. so i cant use the leg extension.
