It is in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc, that our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products. We test them in the field with other campers to assure ourselves of their comfort and resistance. We go to regions like the Jura and Auvergne to experience different terrains and weather conditions. These moments involve a lot of discussions. These are invaluable for getting your feedback and preparing our future collections!

Excellent piece of kit
Great little light
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Gives enough light to see what you are doing when camping. Not bright enough for reading, but don't believe it was made for that
Great little lamp
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
A good lamp for the price, I have a few of these which work really well as a group around the tent.
bet on red
Used for 1 week or less
These were really cheap, no other colour lantern was reduced and I was worried that they would glow red. They dont. They give off white light.

I have no idea why they were just £2.99. i took a chance and bought 4 for my camping trip , glad I did !
Great value little lamp
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bright, robust and extremely portable. Sadly doesn’t seem rechargeable in anyway otherwise would have been 5 *

Quechua BL40 hiking lamp

Not very bright!
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought one of these and decided that I would buy more if it worked well. It wasn't very bright and I looked around elsewhere. I found brighter and cheaper lights from another retailler. I would recommend LED lights over this type.
Response of the brand
Good morning,

Thank you for the review of the BL40 Lumens Camping / Hiking Lamp - Blue and found it not to be satisfactory. I am sorry that you feel this way as I have this lantern and have used it for a couple of years now and really love it. Yes, there may be cheaper LED lanterns on the market but with the BL40 Lumens Camping / Hiking Lamp - Blue it comes with a 2 year warranty, a water resistance and creates no shadows whilst in use.

These little lights hold a lot of power and are all you need see inside you`re tent at night, my next purchase will probably be the wind up version, But I do recommend them.
