The “bonnet and hook” section of the lamp is removable. if you screw it to the upper section of the lamp, the bonnet will act as a reflector to create stronger lighting. If you screw it to the lower section of the lamp, you can hang the lamp and enjoy 360° lighting to create optimal lighting for a group. The red light guarantees a softer brightness, which is less aggressive on the eyes and less likely to dazzle.

It is in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc, that our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products. We test them in the field with other hikers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Jura, Auvergne... We headed out onto as many different terrains as possible, in all weather conditions. These moments involve a lot of discussions. We use this to get your feedback and prepare our future products!

Stockage Tips
Choose a clean, dry place and make sure to remove the batteries when the lamp is not in use for long periods.

These lanterns put out plenty of light and are very cost effective. The interchangeable cap means you can hang it from the tent ceiling to cast light down into the tent or with the cap swapped so it can be used as a lantern and placed on a table. Wouldn’t ever use the red light setting.
Awesome lantern for a tint snob!
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I went in to Decathlon to get a little tent for the garden to play in and after paying for it noticed the lighting department!! First I noticed the torches with their amazing build quality but they were cold white and tint no good but then I found the lanterns and had to try them all! I settled on this model because it looks good and feels solid, takes 4xAA and the LED colour temperature and tint is simply amazing for the price, it is neutral white not awful cold white or angry blue like other cheap lanterns sold elsewhere and it has Low, high and red modes! I tried a few, the tint is consistent between all the ones I tried, no weewee yellow or sick green unlike some much more expensive lanterns where you have to play the tint lottery. I prefer it to my expensive Fenix lantern.
Very good value lantern

Very good battery operated lantern that provides quite a bright light. Finally found a camping lantern that works just as well on the following trip :-)
