Technical Informations

It is not easy to give precise heating times: this depends on the sun's rays, the way in which the shower is laid out and the initial temperature of the water. As a rough guide, here are the temperatures observed after leaving the shower in the sun for an afternoon (outdoor temperature of 27°C): In 2 hours, the temperature increased from 24°C to 34°C In 3 hours, the temperature increased from 24°C to 37.5°C To heat it up more quickly, lay the shower down to increase the area exposed to the sun.
Do not leave your shower behind the windscreen of a car throughout the day in full summer to speed up the heating of the water. Our tests showed that this can heat up the water to a temperature of 80°C. Such high temperatures can damage the components of the shower, making them age prematurely, and, above all, be hazardous for the user.

Our design team imagined, thought up and designed the Quechua products in France, at the foot of the Mont Blanc. We test them in the field with other campers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Whether it is the Jura or the Auvergne, we visit as many locations as possible, in all weather conditions. These field tests involve lots of discussions, which are very useful in getting your feedback and planning our future products!

Stockage Tips

Really Usefull for anyone into the Outdoors
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Great and lightweight for something with some moving parts. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I wished it had a bit more volume than just 8 litres. You can't fill it full and there is a maximum level which goes up about less than 2/3rd of the height which I presume is tied to allowing pressure build up when you pump. Good for a quick rinse after swimming in the sea or lakes/rivers or as a backup at home in cases of water shortages. I keep it in the car so that I never leave home without it.
Simply brilliant!
Used for 3 to 6 months
I was a bit sceptical about how well this would work. I didn't think it was big enough for a decent shower, but thanks to the pressurised system, it gives the impression of a proper shower without needing a large volume of water. Also, because the water is kept on the ground, it doesn't put any strain on the shower tent, unlike conventional gravity fed bag type!
It also packs down very small.
Excellent bit of kit

Superb little camping shower

Excellent product with good capacity and with a days intense sun will warm up adequately to provide a refreshing shower following a day in the sea, also great for showering a muddy dog down!
