Excellent first trail shoe lightweight and good gripping sole
I've bought 2 pairs of these, I was getting knee pains when running and they have disappeared since wearing these shoes, I mainly trail run and these have been excellent and clean up well, I've even put them in the washing machine, I've seen other shoes for £120+ but I can have three of these for the same price, I was sceptical about buying own brand shoes but not now.
Brought these to start running in, they were very comfy and very springy (the bottom has a lot of cushioning) and I love them!!!
Ultra comfortable and very light - in fact they're so good, they helped me to come 8th overall in the last Sport Series run at Farnborough!!
These shoes should not be sold as trail shoes.
Shoes quality is not up to the mark.
shoes mesh from side stitches got tear within four months.
Never expected this quality from the brand.
Thanks for taking the time to write to us,
We are really sorry that Elio feel men trail running shoes didn't meet your expectation. We appreciate your valuable feedback and take it into consideration for further improvement of our trail shoes range.

Price and quality
I have advised this shoes from Decathlon sales person, I went with her. I used it for Trekking. Very comfortable, cushioning is at par, very light weight.
Color option should be available
Please add more color options as per your UK website.
I went into Decathlon to try on the new Salomon Speedcross 4 and to see what else was available. I tried on all the trail shoes and found the KALENJI ELIO FEEL to be the most comfortable for me and have relatively low heel drop to help me transition away from heel striking. I am used to running in Salomon, brooks, Inov8, so was worried about buying cheapo shoes. I have since put done over 150 miles in the Kalenji and have bought another pair for when these fall apart. The shoes are showing a little ware on the soles and are holding together very well. The Elio feel drain very well after river crossings. They are very cushioned so stay wet but stop squelching underfoot almost immediately. They are pretty much a road shoe with grippy sole so are very comfortable over long distances and supportive on flat trails. The wide sole/heal becomes an issue on more technical trails where you need a narrow tight fitting shoe. I'm no longer a trainer snob. Cheap is cheerful.
Comfortable. Lowish heel drop. Flexible.
Not suitable for tech and mud (obviously)
