Dear Customer Muhammad Firdaus, thank you for your time in leaving us with a 5-Star rating on our product. We are glad that we managed to delight you with the standards of our 2 Person 2 Seconds Fresh and Black. All Quechua tents are waterproof and they validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet. We really appreciate your loyalty with Decathlon. Please let us know if there is anything else we can improve on in the future. Thank you once again for your time and we hope to serve you again soon!
took this to a festival it was ideal, only thing is im not the tallest person in the world and my feet touched the end easily. othert than that its great. cool in the day during the blistering heat and pitch black in the night.
I have used mine extensively, in every sort of weather that the Lake District could throw at me and it has never once let me down.
Stays cool and dark when the sun blasts off your tent during those annoying hours in the morning. The ventilation makes sure your tent never becomes an oven. Waterproofing is great.
Incredibly easy to pitch. A bit more tricky to pack away (like all popup tents) but it's easy when you have the confidence and experience.
I have two of these now and adore them. I love having my own space when camping and they are so cosy. But the bloody teens nick them so I don't get a look-in any more. They're really handy to take along to sporting events when the team gazebo somehow hasn't made the trip. Easy to pop up, a doddle to take down.
Originally purchased another model that didn’t have this Fresh & Black system.
When I went to collect my tent at the London Surrey Quays shop I noticed this model that would suit my needs much better.
Staff was very efficient and did the change for me in just a few minutes, I only had to pay the difference. Couldn’t be happier
I really don't like this tent ..not ideal for windy or cold days at all ..they need to also put some material from fly sheet to out sheet to reduce the wind from under the tent
Great tent, quick to set up and easy to pack away.....almost as quick as suggested :-)
The tent mounts by itself when opening the buckles.
Putting it away is slightly more complex but still way faster and easier than a normal tent.
If you are buying this I would recommend passing by a Decathlon shop and ask them to show you how it's done.
It is really fresh and dark. About freshness you need to be a little smart and close the openings if it is too cold. During summer camping I could always find my thermal comfort, wind or not!
No water leak whatsoever under the rain.
In this particular model there is no space for backpacks. For that you need to buy a bigger one. Also this tent, when folded, is in the shape of a large disk, therefore not usable if you are planning to carry it while hiking. You need to camp close to you car.
The interior is well organized, there are pockets and a hook where you can attach the lamp.
I’m giving it 5 stars not because it’s the best tent ever but for £65 it is very, very good for what it does.
Yes, it takes a ninja to put the tent up I’m in the times stated (pegs and guide ropes) but is it easy and up in 5mins? Yes.
I actually used it for a summit camp on top of Ben Lomond, Scotland (only advisable for low wind forecasts) and it was absolutely fine, even when the forecast was wrong and I got hit with 30-40mph wind and gusts. With bags and stuff, it would be a struggle to fit two people (I had a lot of camera gear, for example) and it’s not designed to be carried up a mountain, so not a compact thing when packed away.
But it’s a great tent. And for the price, it’s an excellent tent.
