Our team developed our Compact Arpenaz shelter. To shelter one adult or two children from the sun or a light wind or to provide insulation from the ground.

Our objective? To offer you a simple and extremely compact shelter that you can take with you everywhere in your backpack. You can also use it on the beach.

TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

SUN PROTECTION

Important: a significant amount of UV rays will pass through the opening and the fabric. We recommend you protect your skin.

WATERPROOFING

This shelter will protect you from fine rain thanks to its polyurethane coated polyester fabric. The floor mat will protect you from humidity and water infiltration.
Important! The seams are not sealed, so you will not be protected in the event of heavy rain.

WIND RESISTANCE

In the event of wind, plant the supplied tent pegs.
Tip: for optimal wind resistance, in addition to the pegs provided to anchor the shelter, you can place its carry bag half-filled with stones or your loaded backpack on the inner windward side.
The solid fibreglass poles are highly resistant to breakage. The 5 mm thick galvanised steel pegs do not bend easily.

DIMENSIONS

The unfolded shelter forms a 1 m² triangle on the ground. Its is approximately 1.05 m high.
When folded, the shelter forms a 38 x 9 cm cylinder.
